I'd be worried about an island tipping over too. Maybe they need more track width??

I once asked a very smart, respected, and successful man why we can't any good leaders in this country and he just laughed and said smart, respected and successful people were smart enough to stay away from politics.

I would not have had as much restraint as the general. I would have blurted out something like "You're kidding, right?!?!?"

Some people are born stupid, the rest of us have to work at it.
How's that change working for you now.

This ignorant bastard makes $175,000.00 per year for life! Plus a healthcare deal that is nothing like what they are going to force us into.

I will say this; if I ever get called before Congress, the youtube will be worth it.

He makes Queen Sheila Jakcson Lee look smart, from wiki:

On a visit to the Jet Propulsion Laboratories in 2005, Jackson Lee made embarassing news by asking if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong.[2]

According to his website...

Rep. Johnson's statement on Guam comments in an Armed Services Committee hearing
April 1, 2010 "The subtle humor of this obviously metaphorical reference to a ship capsizing illustrated my concern about the impact of the planned military buildup on this small tropical island."

I don't buy it... He's as dumb as a box of rocks.

Rep. Johnson practiced civil and criminal law in DeKalb County for twenty-seven (27) years. A staunch supporter of public education, he is a graduate of the District of Columbia Public Schools, Clark College in Atlanta and the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.

Thank you for your interest in Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. TMSL seeks students from diverse backgrounds with the potential to succeed in law school and become active members of the legal community.

Looks like they want to fill a quota... he fell through the cracks...[/quote]

The only obvious metaphor involved here is that this guy has been riding on the coattails of affirmative action.
