Bah... Weak and voluntary.

Try 41 foundation piers worth over 20% of the value of the house...

How much did that driveway cost per square foot Mitch?

I don't believe the tearing up of the kitchen was voluntary. Looks to me like Mitch was looking for Chester II's hiding spot.

Damn ... you live on a swamp?

How much did that driveway cost per square foot Mitch?

~$2.75 sq/ft.

That is with 3/8 rebar on 2' centers
had to grind out a 3' diameter stump
12' x 12" footing on the outer edges

I'm with Mitch. I don't feel like much of a winner on this one, especially since the foundation wasn't the biggest unplaned expense in the last year. I just wanted everyone, including Mitch, to know that his excuse was weak. :D

I do like the upgrades, though, Mitch. Would love to be doing that to my place. Currently, my home projects are focused on drywall...

Great news Frank! It sounded like metal rubbing and not really anything knocking.
