Some very cool things going on in the points going into our last event...

AI
The rookie of the year title is all down to the last event with Neary and Rock only 10 points apart. Looks like Patterson will be the AI Champ.

AIX
The top driver has less than 400 points and ECR is a four race weekend...so technically ANYONE can take home this title! Who will sign up for AIX???

CMC
Jeff Wirtz must make all the races at ECR to secure the CMC title since he's already got four drops. Love and Robertson are within stricking distance! Looks like Valentin will be the CMC RotY unless Hughes buys/borrows/builds a car for the weekend, at which point we could see a shootout!

CMC2
With both Mosty and Proctor missing TWS, Kellam is a sure bet for the CMC2 title as long as he takes the flags at ECR. The big race will be for the RotY honors with English and Zimmer going into the last event tied in rookie points!!!

Bring it!! As the national director, I say it's your duty to get out there and keep some upstart rookie hack such as myself from stealing the season title in my first w2w weekend at a track I've never seen before....that just ain't right.

Besides, beating a director from the back of the field makes for a much better story once the margarita machine gets cranked up ;)

The guy hasn't raced since 2007 or so when he fell off his horse at TWS. Poor guy must be scared or something.

I thought drops were rounded to the nearest whole number? Isn't there 5 drops this year?

You are correct. There will be 23 races this year as long as we get 4 at ECR. 20% is the drop percentage, so that comes out to 4.6 drops. 5 drops for 2010.
