yeah -- I was watching that race from Timing & Scoring. That entire race was a clusterfuck. 4-5 passes under yellow, 6 or 7 instances of contact.

Oh -- a couple of cars had dead transponders (meaning manual timing entries,) and two cars swapped transponders.

I took about 500 shots from the hill with a so-so telephoto....about 50 are worth looking at...add photo-journalist to the list of professions I'll never make a living doing.
The pix are in NEF format so I need to run them through the converter and don't have time before I head out - I'll get them up on the FTP site next weekend.

I watched some of my video tonight and unfortunately it has an insane amount of glare. I have never seen this on my videos so I guess either my camera is going out (5-years old), the windshield was filthy, or it was a just a bad angle with the camera.
I'll post up a sample in a day or so and get your opinion.
The only clear video I got was from R3 w/ Jeremiah filling the camera. More to come later.

Put together a highlights reel last night. It seems I had competition in front of me, behind me, or both for about 90% of my time on track. I even tried my hand at defending the lead for a couple laps... and failed. Turns out my GoPro was on the fritz so I got very limited rear view action. :evil: oh well.

Thanks to everyone for the great food, amazing racing and overall entertainment (G for Goobers, D for Drama, HAHAHA). Simply Awesome weekend!!!

Sorry about the fuel bath. I got the note from the track and the cap had been put in crooked and "clicked" like it was closed but it weren't.

I got about 3 seconds of the start of race 2... dead battery.
