Congratulations to Wade Zimmer (CMC2), Nic Valentin (CMC) and Dave Neary (AI) for Rookie of the Year honors.
Wade fought through car issues (T5 transmission/Cresson), overheating at TWS in August, and attending a wedding to miss Hallet, to pull it off at ECR for 2010 ROTY.
Nic was consistently there each and every race, and ended the season with a victory at ECR.
Dave is getting faster and faster, and held off Sgt Eddie Rock to capture ROTY for AI.
We got to see a lot of new racers on track which are getting faster and faster.
Boys, post up your signatures with pride. You deserve it.
It was great racing with each of you and cannot wait until next year.
Rookies Rule.
When can we take the R off of our bumper?

Thanks Randy! I know I couldn't have asked for a nicer guy to push, pull, and motivate me through my season. It was a pleasure running with you and Wayne and everyone else this year. My entire goal at the start of the season was simply (I thought!) to start every race. Maybe I can do that next year.

I spent most of Saturday afternoon hangin out with Nick, Gary, and Sam as we tried to recruit THREE new guys to the series. Frank Bryan, Kent Kroll, and Ben...if you're reading this...you know what you need to do!

Congrats to all!!

Ditto!! It was fun to watch the bantering among those in a close race for points and ROTY.

Randy, thanks so much for the post and kind words.

I have to say that racing with you all is an honor. I know there is still a long way for me to go, but my progress this year is directly correlated with everyone's willingness to share their knowledge and experience. I can't thank you all enough for encouraging me to race and helping me be a better driver and technician! I can only hope to follow your example.

Sincerely,

Dave Neary

Thanks! That's pretty much exactly how I feel now that the season is over with. Racing in AI has been a dream of mine for about 10 years now and now that my first season is over is kind of a surreal feeling. It's so great finally being able to race with all you guys!
