What a great evening. For all of you that couldnt be there...you missed a wonderful party. Thanks to all of you that helped get this together!!

Cafe Capri did a wonderful job with table service and keeping the beer and wine flowing. The italian food was very tasty.

We had the world premiere of the AICMC Texas 2010 Year in Review video and handed out full res DVDs to everyone in attendance. For those of you that werent there, here is a link to the video in downloadable size. Please right click and save the file locally and thank Mitch and Law Motorsports for the bandwidth:

We continued with awards for the top 5 in each class as well as the Rookie of the Year in each class including the travelling plaques with the name of each champ and ROTY added on.

Of course no AICMC Texas banquet would be complete without some special awards that we handed out throughout the night:

Wife of the Year: Darci Crumpacker
Darci is not only always supporting Sam, but she's kept all of us well fed with yummy and warm jalapeno dip. She really went above and beyond though when she started making fun of other race groups over the track PA system!

Screwball of the Year: Eddie Rock
Eddie drove to and from the track in a full fledged AI car including a six foot wide wing, full racing graphics, open exhaust, no windows or aircon, no insulation or sound deadening... What a nut!

Crew Chief of the Year: Wayne Kellam
What can yousay about a guy who preps, sets up, and maintains the car that won the regional and national CMC2 championships other than he's the crew chief of the year?

Hard Luck Award: a tie this year to Nick Runyon and Sam Crumpacker
Nick worked on his car all year to get it to run right. He was at the track twice...the car never made one lap, all due to electrical issues. His hard luck kit included a test light, wire, connectors, and zip ties. Sam managed to destroy and replace three clutches in his Mustang in one weekend!! His hard luck kit included a Chevy clutch alignment tool, a bar of go-fast orange hand soap, and some hand towels.

Golden Helmet Award: Bryan Calder
Bryan managed to park his car four wheels off the ground on a tire wall and facing the race track, of course walking away unhurt.

Big Bang Award: Glenn Landrum
This first time ever award, the left front fender from Rob Liebbe's car, was personally presented to Glenn by Rob.

Iron Man Award: Team LiiR, Gary Robertson, Jeremiah Kellam
These guys made it to every event in 2010!

We finished off the night with some news and info from Dave and Revkah Balingit. Among the things they told us abot is to expect entry fees next year to drop to "around the $300 range"!!!! Welcome Dave and Reckah!!!

So, who has pictures?

Some pictures that Wendi was able to get. The lighting wasn't very good so some of the shots are dark.
