Today is my only day off for the holidays but thankfully I have Friday off as well. Somebody has to throw the newspapers to the 86 subscribers still out there. :?

Hadn't thought about it like that ...

Its cold out and kids are all home, running in and out of the house. So thermostats are turned up and heaters are working OT.

Cheap contract power (like for schools) is down and demand for the expensive residential power is up!

Cooling water temp is dropping making the heat exchangers work very efficient, ramping up our ERCOT capacity factor. Sweet!

Need a couple more nights in the mid 20s to solidify my 2010 bonus.

ERCOT... PPfffttt. Copy PJM and get nodal on time under budget??? NO! Do it Cali style and spend a bunch of money and be a year late.

But loads are off out west (http://caiso.com/outlook/SystemStatus.html) and i have 2500 gas fired MWs sitting around.

Oh yeah... today is a company holiday, must explain why I'm here.

Just got home from the family vacation....time to start working in the garage and around the house...I only have 1 more week of vacation left!

Been working it daily on an active basis...typically between the hours of 8AM -10AM and 9PM -2AM.
