I was thinking of how many pieces it would turn into if it got hit.

I've actually seen that car. It's more hideous in person than the pictures lead on.

Wow Dave. Been a long time. Checking in just before the season starts. Does that mean you are running this year???

Glenn, yep, I know Randy. Nice guy.

We are finally coming out of the weeds and looking at digging the cars out of mothballs. Just trying to figure out what all needs to be done. Mainly rule wise like I have and Impact fire suit and we still have a stack of 17" RA-1's and no interest in throwing them out.

Not to mention the f'n medical. Anybody know a doc with very small hands? I hate that shit.

What is the issue w/ 17" RA1's?

Welcome back!!! 17s are the way to go anyway, dont worry there. Dont call Dr. Robertson. Not only does he have very big hands, you dont want to be added to his list of stories...

You should not have to see Dr. Jelly finger for a race medical. Every two years I have to get a medical (third class) for my pilot's license and for racing. No Dr. Jelly finger. I see my regular family doctor once a year and that one is a different story. Just wait you youngsters until you are over 40. Lots to look forward to.

As for the 17's, I thought they went to a new tire in 18". Guess in keeping with the norm it changed back.

I am over 40  and I too go to my family doctor. Damn I wish I had your flight surgeon when I was in the Army getting my flight physicals every year. Captain Knuckles always seemed to be the FS on duty when my number came up.

18's are max size for AI but nothing stopping you from running 17s and 17s are much more cost effective <looking at stack of 18" tires and wheels in garage  >

They only changed the rule allowing 18's, not requiring them.
