It's amazing how much time, money, and seat time it takes to shave off 3.5 seconds...

I ran AIX to win “something” my rookie year. Ended up with the championship (in a class of 1) and “Rookie of the Year”… At least my kids think it’s cool.

I used to have it on video, but I may have gotten rid of the tape. There's a picture floating around somewhere of Neil wearing a piece of the turn signal lens as a necklace. For some reason, I can't find it any longer.

Ok, digging into the way-back machine......images from this very event. Eric blew a HG and bent a valve (how could that have happened with a stock cam??!!??), Mike Bell blew up his motor, Rob and Glenn both had bent cars from the Friday licensing day (a precursor of things to come???), and Chris Lyon's earned a pair of manties.

No particular order. Some shot by Holly Donovan (IIRC), Eric Varner, some by Todd (Todd who??), and a few by Blair Hartsfield. Not sure about some of the others.
