I've gotten in a little financial bind that was dropped on me last week. I'm looking for some ways to scrape up some quick cash. If anyone needs any cage work done, wiring work done, or any thing along those lines for themselves or a buddy they have, now would be a good time to hit me (and Mitch) of LAW Motorsports up for some work.
It doesn't have to be car related either, just hit me up and see if I can do it for you.

I need "intrusion panels" welded into the driver side door bars on the ARCA car... I can send you the specs if you are interested... must be done ASAP, of course

I have very limited access to the internet, so call me @ 281-414-1738

I'll be in Houston April 12-13. Any sooner than that, and I can't help.

David, that's a bit of an odd size. What does the rule call for?

Glenn, if you help me get my old Cutlass running, I will be that much closer to racing with you chuckleheads.

13 ga is .089". I can see how much I have if you let me know the sizes you need. Like Clifton said 13 ga. is not as common as 14 ga. (.074") or 12 ga. (.104"). I kep some of all three but less of the 13 ga.

The bling bling aluminum wheels and LT tires on the trailer were right at their weight limit so I bought some proper E-rated trailer tires. They are 1.7" larger in diameter so I would like to raise the trailer about an inch off the axles.

It looks like it would be pretty simple but would require welding:

Are you available the 12th or 13th and do you think you could put some kind of 1" spacer between the axles and frame and extend the mount for the bolt? If yes, can you bring a welder and would you need 220V?

I'm gonna pass on that job. I would do it to my own trailer, but not someone elses. That is alot of liability going down the road at 70 mph.

Fair enough, I have 3" clearance above the current tires with the car in the trailer. I'll lose about 0.85" of that with the taller trailer tires. I need to figure out how much travel the suspension has. I might be OK without "raising" the trailer up. Thanks.

You could also alter the fenders for clearance (move them up and make them removeable). An inch isn't that much but raising the trailer also increases the ramp angle for loading the car (if you have ramps and not a tilt bed) and causes more front end and mid car clearance problems during loading. If clearance isn't a problem then lifting the trailer an inch should be fairly simple. If Glenn doesn't have the time to do this, I now have a shop out in Luling with welders, etc. and will soon be building custom trailers (jet ski, boat, racecar). It's a little far but not as far as Dallas ... about 2 hrs.
