Gee, thanks for the reminder. TBH, he doesn't think I did anything wrong (nor do I) - the car had a rev-limiter than I never got close to. I was on the front straight, past S/F, in 4th gear with the revs at ~5000, and...BAM.
His stock harmonic balancer failed....naturally, when I was driving it. If we hadn't raced it in the enduro, it would have failed on Sunday (when I wouldn't have been driving it!). Suffice it to say, the front of the crank snapped, taking out the rest of the front of the motor.....as we've seen before.
It's putting a pretty big dent in my racing budget.
