racing suits

Like most of you, Jay and I paid $1100.00 for our SFI 3.2A/5 suits four years ago. This last weekend I saw suits at PST for $299.00. They were very thin and two of them looked pretty good. I assumed they were crew suits or something at this lower price. I get this add this morning.

A new SFI-5 rating that is thinner, last longer in a fire, and cost 1/3rd what the old rating cost.

i assume that the $299 price is for the flat-belly skinny size. wonder how much for the pot-belly, old man size?
Nice looking suit. wonder how cool they are? but then again, nothing is cool in texas in the summer.
