We have decided to sell our neon to make room in the shop and so we can concentrate on running the camaro and mustang. Matt just has too many cars and projects to deal with so the neon will be going to a new home.

1997 Dodge Neon, 2.0 4cyl with 5spd.

Well built car with Greg Lucas cage, maintained by MFW, ATL FIA GT3 fuel cell with proper road race pickup and mustang pump/regulator.
Sold without Race Seat or Harnesses.
Quick and can go for VERY long stints. has run 1:59's at Houston CW with Patterson driving, and 2:11's at TWS CW.
Mostly stock suspension with cut springs but not too low.
Has placed in top 15 in every event. Scored a second place, 5th, 12th and won class A as well as "least horrible yank tank".

Great and fun little car.

Has 2 full sets of 15x7 wheels with 6 dunlop direzzas and 2 azenis. 205/50/15's...car is cheap to run!
Will come with 2 full sets of Hawk pads....should last till 2020 considering one set of pads has lasted 7 events.

Fresh motor and gaskets. has fuel guage for cell, oil pressure and water temp guages.

Many spares included: 1 long block from 99 stratus with 88k miles, one bare block, one complete head, many brake spares, extra electric fans, ECU, injectors....etc. Basically everything you need to be track ready with support, just add your seat and belts. FIA seat with 2 years remaining and Shroth Enduro harnesses available for an extra $850.

Car is currently painted in "blue testicle" livery with single nut hanging from rear bumper. Weighs 2106# with 1/2 tank of fuel.

Asking price is $4000 cash or equal value in 275/40/17 Hoosiers! Might consider trade for clean 20-24' enclosed trailer. Car usually gets a $475 value from Lemons. Car is in College station. More details upon request. PM here or contact matt at aggie97 dot com

Yep. We should have put matt in the car 1/2 hour earlier than we did. 3 hours in the rain for me was a lot and then to hit ATF on the pit in lane was the killer. I think he made it from 6th to 2nd in the rain making up 3 laps in just two and a half hours...the leaders were VERY worried. Fun event nontheless.
