Buddy of mine was showing me Harris Hill Road where he's a member and he managed to snowplow some of the soft ground off turn 7, which is ironically called 'Mustang.' And ripped the front plastics off my car.

My first inclination is just to go to the junkyard, pull another front fascia then fab a splitter for the bottom.

Should I be thinking about doing something else? If there were a couple hundred dollar out of the box solution for this, I'd consider that. Though I'm not expecting there is one.

Check to see what Frank has? There may be a decent alternative that gives better aero? Jeremy?

Mike,
Time for some real aero... Talk to Jim Dulaney at Fulcrum and see what he can set you up with...

Just screw it back on the car. It'll buff out.

I did that to mine at Hallett a few years ago. Mitch fixed it with a few zip-ties and some duct tape. Good as new.

Ordered a Cobra bumper cover from ebay (about $175 in primer) and will call Fulcrum this week.

Now need to find some Grabber Orange paint. Or maybe just a spray bomb from Home Depot.

Returned the cheapo Cobra bumper cover; got a Cervini. Car now at Fulcrum Aero for a splitter and to raise/improve the wing.

Jim Dulaney is a super guy. Should have car back early-mid Jan; should be able to complete prep in time for the MSR-H event in late Jan.

Very nice. Jim does an excellent job on his splitters. I really like how they "float" so if you do go off, the splitter just runs along the ground and the car bounces over it. I've gone off like a hero a few times and nothing really has ever happened to the splitter. Just watch the wear plates and their attachment rivets. They are your "wear" item...

I'd be careful about going back to Harris hill. It's so bumpy there that you could prob tear the front splitter off just driving on the pavement! Their repave job did no improvement whatsoever.

Can't be as bad as Eagle's Canyon is getting, right?

I haven't been there since the repairs but Eagle's is smooth compared to Harris Hill...
