Big thanks to Matt White for providing access to his shop to get my Watts link mount welded up. We made a fast repair, which held up great for R4.
Called Fays2, and apparently they've redesigned the part and will ship a free replacement.

Dave... cut your weight in half.. add "Real" race tires and some areo and even YOU can do it... if not, we could all pickup your car and load it on the trailer for you...

Race 3 and 4 from the back. Need to learn to watch the flag at the start. And learn how to pass. And learn how to drive. And....

A couple laps in to race 3 you can get a good view of Randy's bumper hanging off.

Race 4 had some good action with Wade and Ben towards the end.

I forgot my dang camera most of the weekend. I ran in it R4, but didn't mount it very good and it is really jumpy. I will still probably get some of it up later tonight or tomorrow.

My alternator was sending surges at certain Rpm's and it was making my volt gauge go nuts! So I came in to prevent any damage to the motor. Went and got a new one in town then it was back in business Sunday!

Here is R4.... I am still not exactly sure what happened at the end. I need to check the transmission and transmission mount to make sure I don't have an issue. I simply couldn't get it in fourth gear. I bet it looked like I was rowing a boat in there. :D

Here is R4.... I was just happy to be in the frame for a bit... you guys make that look easy. I was out of talent for sure, and leaning on the car hard. Hoping to have some R1 and R2 in the next day or so. Good racing that was.

BTDT, at least you didn't compound the mistake like I did by staying in it and try to rejoin quickly at T3. I'm told I got 4-6 feet of air...

Do you only have a 4 speed in there, or was I watching that wrong?

I have a 5 speed I just don't run those crazy high ratio diff gears that everyone else uses. I don't like rowing through the gears the whole race. The 3:73 and higher ratios are only good for drag racing and off the line stuff. In my opinion they are impractical for road racing especially on big tracks. Just my 2 cents.

My wife thought it was a connecting rod. Funny, and rather impressive that she knows what that is.
