Just saw your facebook post... Sorry to see that Eddie! :( My back seized up on me Saturday morning so I was not able to come out - good thing Dave found a solution to the catering ;) - from T&S it looked like it was a rough weekend for American Iron :/

ECR 2013 R4 could quite possibly remain the most fun and exciting CMC race I have ever or will ever be in. At one point I think the right side mirror of the cheatin' 55 was in my window for half a straight... and I think Jay had the left two off for most of that.

Corey The Great decided to show a "possible" way around the Toilet Bowl with two off track right... if only those rocks were stickier.

Congrats to Morgan Dawdy on a well deserved win, and a big tip of the hat to Ben who's car decided it was getting scared of being off the front all alone.

I've really missed the full-field inverts. You guys in CMC race differently (and closer) than we do in AI, and it was a blast figuring out a way around you. I got pinched a few times, and I think people were just taking advantage of my pretty bodywork, and my desire to not have it damaged. :)

Last minute addition to our race. He had no idea what was going on, or why CMC wasn't catching up (we do split starts now). Also, he was supposed to be in his own row.

the first practice session of Saturday morning I thought "man, I don't like this track at all..."
After the last lap of Sunday R4 I thought "man, I like this place!"

Some pretty good racin' out there. thanks to Wade for helping me scrounge for a single bolt and washer, and Casey for lending me his trans mount.

Piss poor start, still cant work out what happened but at the least I was caught off gaurd. Some of the most fun I've had on track this year, right up until cylinder #1 became a back up fire suppression system.

The 55 got every bit of 3/4 width of a real race car... even though it didn't deserve it with the active rear suspension in operation AND returning from off track (safely), though not having found the S(how and shine)I13 car in the process. I need to upload the bit I have... camera issues missed the R4 excitement.

The 57 went off at around 1:30. Wasn't there a local yellow T8-9 at least until 10:00? I know T7 is a setup corner, but with the car off just past 8 (and then the tow rig out there) it seemed a little aggressive for the conditions. I would have expected maybe yellow at even T7 to keep that entire sequence safe for the crew?

When Aaron passed me I was convinced we were under yellow, but we weren't.
