Toyo Buck question

I sent in for Toyo Bucks on Oct 9th (Hallett was 6-23-13). Don't we have 120 days to get them in? I sent it to Glenn on 10-9-13 and Glenn sent it out on 10-15-13. That gave me eight days to get to NASA. When I got home from ECR I had a letter from NASA but inside was only my addressed envelope that I sent to Glenn and my copies of the results. No Toyo Bucks, no reason why it was sent back. I lost $100.00! I know I waited a long time but do we have 120 days or not? I can't find it on the NASA site now.

yup, 120 days. I called Toyo and spoke to Stan Chen around that same time. He said Angela Montijo retired and he has taken over the motorsports Toyo Buck side of the business. I'd call him and see what happened. I don't have a phone number but IIRC it they are based in California.

Me too! Plus, it's in email form, so I don't have to use another stamp to send it to the tire place to spend it.

Probably so, they pay 10-14th place, if there are more than 10 starters, which I think there always was for CMC.

Any idea why I still have not received a response from Jeremy? I sent the e-mail asking what happened right after you told me to on 11-5-13. So now on 11-12-13 he still have not responded. I really don't understand why I would get the envelope and all my papers back without a word about what was wrong and why I did not receive my Toyo Bucks? This is a very poor way to respond by just returning all the paperwork without a word on why it was not paid. I'm re-sending the e-mail now. I thought maybe you knew if Jeremy is out for some reason.

The hole thing was my fault. I sent the request to Jeremy at NASA instead of to Toyo. It is Hell getting old!

Just an update for everyone:
I noticed on the new 2014 Toyo forms that all Toyo Bucks must be submitted within 30 days of the event. Here is the note from the Toyo form:

“Toyo Dollars” rebates must be claimed within 30 days of the conclusion of the event. Rebates must be
redeemed at an official Toyo motorsports dealer within 90 days from when the rebate was issued.

Previously it was 120 days after an event so everyone needs to be much quicker in submitting for the Toyo Bucks.
Also, remember positions 10th - 14th also qualify for $25.
