yeah, we can add a spoiler but what if I just want to ditch my factory Trans Am spoiler/wing? I seriously doubt it does anything.
I will be probably building something in the future but i just want to get rid of the factory one for now before anything else is ready. Just unbolt and go?
Can I run the firebird sans tailfeathers?

preliminary mockup of the future...
ok, maybe this one is a bit much..

I don't like the official interpretation, but yes, you can remove the T/A spoiler from the deck. A formula rear deck is also legal.

ok, thanks.
the car was originally a formula but I wrecked that hatch trying to slow my car down, sideways, using Ole' English as a backstop a long while back.
fyi, the formula deck (or spoiler) isn't removable as it is one piece with the hatch unlike the TA. the TA wing is unbelievably heavy too, for what it is.

Morgan, fwiw, putting the Blaine spoiler was probably the biggest one item I did to the car for handling, outside of new shocks and new tires.
You need to do it.
