I've been trying to work w/ a TX based shop to get some rear shocks on the #95.
Time is running short and I'm begging to doubt they'll deliver in time (zero follow up on their part).
I called UnbalancedE and J.S. didn't think he'd have a set available in time.
The shocks I pulled off my car are trashed. done.
Just floating it out there to see if anyone has a set of usable rears to lend/lease for the weekend at MSR-C. I generally run 225's or 250's out back.
I see a few, *cough*, OE type shocks on rockauto for $20 and under... would those even work for the weekend w/ such high rates vs stock?.... They'd have to be better than what I'm left with now.

Have you tried HVT in Plano? They did a 9 day turn on my rear shocks.

I talked to them early on. they basically told me "we can get our engineering intern to look at a spread sheet and build some shocks for you". not exactly the response i was looking for.

i had some koni DA's on the car for way too long.

I worked directly with Brian and John. Gave them corner weights as well as spring rates.

Get some Bilstien HD rears and run those.

$82/each shipped from tire rack. not bad.
GL, you think these will work half way decently for a weekend or two with 225's or 250's?

Morgan... I ran off the shelf HD's for several years with 225 rears before I moved to the Bilstein race shocks from Jason.

They will work. My experience is that they will make the car oversteer depending on bars and front spring setup.

If you were close, I would loan you my old set.

You could bring them with you and the race car to Cresson.

I ran my first year or two on them with 250's.

I may not even make it out to watch. Jaycie has soccer games and possibly a basketball tournament that weekend as well. Just depends on scheduling... I might make it out to spectate late on Saturday.

Cruising through and saw this post.

I think I may have a pair of either SAs or DAs that might have some life left in them.
I also have a Formula hatch

Free if you want them

Lemma know ...

Come see us at Cresson or we will all come over your house. I know you don't want that.
