No relationship to seller, just happened to see the ad. If this was my high school car I think I would be all over it, 7665 miles and seems to be perfect!

This is a 1986 Mustang GT with only 7,665 original miles. All dealership original from the top to the bottom. Absolutely beautiful condition. Runs, drives, steers and brakes like a new car. I've owned it since 2006 and during that entire time, it's been stored in a climate controlled warehouse inside of an Air Chamber plastic bubble.

The engine starts on first turn of the key; immediately. The engine idles smoothly and without any smoke, even upon initial start up. The transmission shifts smoothly and precisely.

The paint is original and in exceptional condition. This car has never been in any kind of collision or had any paint or body work of any kind. The car has obviously been garaged its entire life. All trim and factory decals are outstanding. It sits on its original ten hole wheels with factory correct Goodyear Eagle Gatorbacks. All glass is original and free from scratches, including the factory T-Tops. It still retains its factory driving lights and ultra-rare Marschal driving light covers.

The exhaust is original and in excellent condition.

The interior is unbelievable. It still smells factory new. The seats are firm and supportive and in as-new condition. The dash is perfect. The carpet is perfect. I cannot think of any defect to be found in the interior.

The undercarriage was undercoated when new providing protection from the elements. There is surface rust on any untreated metal, but that is to be expected. It is only superficial and due strictly to age. A bit of time under a lift and you could, if you wanted, remove it with some elbow grease. I only wanted to use this car as an occasional cruiser so that I could feel what it would have been like when I was in high school and could have afforded a new GT! I've posted many photos of the undercarriage for your review. It is the only part of this car that is not spotless, but then again, I've driven it a bit.

This car can be used as a weekend cruiser, a show car or a daily driver. It will retain its value so long as it is taken care of and maintained properly. It is like travelling back in time to 1986 and picking up a new GT Mustang!

Buy with confidence. This is a quality investment that can be enjoyed. I believe that stock, unmolested and low-mile GT Mustangs will remain in demand.

Please feel free to view all of the photos I have of this car at:

Owner is Rob Celedonia. Great guy and is more than meticulous about the cars he owns. If you buy from him you can count on getting a great piece of history and a great car.

My first car was a 1986 GT. It was exactly the same, except mine had grey interior and red exterior and this one is grey exterior and red interior. I always loved the red gauge illumination. I believe that car new would have been around $12,500. I bought mine is 1998 off a grass used car lot for $2500. Sweet.

I love the porno red crushed velvet interior. However, it is really cool to see something like this.
