Yeah, THAT race. Watch the beginning, then the craziest lap in the world begins at 9:30. Accidently punted Mike Stacy at 9:45. 10:35 AI car spin, followed shortly by passing the two totaled CMC cars

Most boring race video ever. Qualified 2nd, finished 2nd. I cut out the two full-course caution laps. Probably could've cut the whole video. Only interesting thing about the video, is that I finally remembered to plug in my Bluetooth OBD reader, so you get gear selection and RPM in the data overlay. Also, this weekend was the first time I let Harry's Lap Timer load the track and break the video into lap segments. Nice to see the clock restart for each lap, but is a total PITA to process this way. Took hours for what was normally a few minutes.

Kinda like last year, there was a jacked up AI start, which caused fury throughout the field, and caused many of us (myself very much included) to drive like A-holes.
Pole sitter shot out of the pits, and was half a lap ahead. Start waved-off. Next lap, he was 2 corners ahead. Next lap, he stopped on-track!

Anyone else left foot brake and willing to share your footwork at TWS? All the cameras we are testing at TWS will be spoken for, but I've got the Stealth and a Sony we could mount.

I wasn't in the tower at the time to make a call on double yellow, but RED flags are saved for fires, blocked track, call from course official or safety that an ambulance is needed NOW. The Red is considred the most serious flag and is not used lightly.


Food for thought.... if the incident looks bad, shouldnt the racers themselves be adult enough so slow down (or stop) on their own?

What SD card are you using in your camera and how many times has it been since reformatting?
We've been doing a fair amount of stress testing on SD with our system and not all cards, even in the same speed class rating, are equal.
If you are still having issues at TWS maybe we can hook up your camera to our system and diagnose.

Golden helmet is reserved for significant elevation above, or distance from the track surface. This incident qualifies for neither.

Yes-I'm wearing the golden helmet right now. Even my Dad asked me if this would mean I get it again but I agree with MFW. I do know turning into a post coming off track isn't going to be worthy. Though I might nominate Smith for something if he would have nosed it into the wall on track out.

Nice footwork Glenn-maybe one day I'll learn how to heel toe. Incredible lap times.

Still need to pull out the very back corner where the bumper attaches. Should be back together and in fighting shape in a week or so. God bless a good relationship with my father, who happens to be a retired body man...

Happened to have a spare tail light on a shelf here at the shop. Only purchase was a quarter molding. The bumper cover will get the same aluminum/rivet treatment my front bumper cover received after MSR-H.

online investigation suggests reformatting the SDcard before each event. dunno. I've had some GoPro issues in the past. For the last several events I start with a good clean SD card and a full charge - camera doesn't like some USB chargers.

I get it out of the car and put it on the charger between races and usually clear/clean/replace the card each day.

Yeah, this makes it hard for me to use age as an excuse. BL has so many and I only have a few.
