I'm not sure how the rookie points drop works,*are the final season points(after drops) posted up somewhere?

They are posted on the nasaforums at the very top in a sticky. As of now they are not updated after ECR.
I'm not sure the % drops for rookie points, standard drops are 20%.

It's 33% but i'm not sure how they work, in my head I'd do it like gradeschool and get the avg.
IE

95
95
90
90
92
87

Drop 87 and a 90, avg the rest which would be 93.

33% of the races are dropped for the Rookie points. We had 24 races this season. That means the points from 8 races are dropped. In other words, you add the points from your 16 best races, add any pole points you got, and that is your point total. Rookie with the highest point total wins...

Gotcha, so I am actually at a disadvantage vs the non rookies.

You only drop 8 when you are comparing against the other rookies. You would drop five to compare against everyone else to determine your overall ranking.
