So it's 8:30 AM and I have been at work since 7:00 AM and all I have done is show this to my brother (motorcycle racer) and co-workers. May not get much done today because of you Gary. Jay got home and showed it to my 18 month old grandson and he loved it. Jay called me and said Kipton wanted to talk to me (he never says a word when we have tried in the past to talk on the phone). I said what's up Kipton.....He said Poppa crash!

Awesome job guys. Thanks Gary and Laura for all the time and creativity. Showing other people they really think the intro is so cool. I'll have to watch it and pause it to see all the stuff you did for the tracks, cars, etc.

Poppa Crash A Lot!

After knowing how awesome the 2011 video was that Gary did I have to say I had high expectations for the 2014 video. Even with my high expectations, I was totally blown away. Just an amazing job, thank you!!!!!

Three-peat!

Whoever ends up doing the video, let me know if you need help. I'll happily sort through full video and clip out highlights reels.

NOPE!

Maybe for 2016.

Will emailed me asking to do some for NASA. I need to politely decline. It's one thing to do it when there isn't any real pressure, but completely different when it's as a 'job'. I'm nowhere close to some of the other NASA ones I've seen with CGI annimation and B-roll footage and stuff. I barely scratch the surface of what the software can do plus I'm really not a techy guy.

Besides, the amount of times people in this group have worked on other peoples cars, loaned parts, tools, setup advice, test drives etc is what really makes it worthwhile. My way of contributing back.

Whoever ends up doing the video, let me know if you need help. I'll happily sort through full video and clip out highlights reels. It all starts with having something to edit - in car video, paddock pictures, video from spectators, etc.

Only watched the first 3 minutes so far ,(at work) but did so with a big smile, this takes a crapload of time and effort. It is great, thanks for producing this.

Now available for download. I've made some small corrections and adjustments to the video. Here is the final version available on google drive.

I'm giving this a try, tho there may be some limitations. I've never really used google drive before.
I'd prefer if you want to share the video with friends/facebook/media sites, direct them to the vimeo.com link in the first post. For your own personal copy, try the following link. It's all supposed to be one line. I separated it to try avoid the autobots. So copy the first part into your web browser, then add the second part to the url.

There is a little download arrow at the top of the screen.
