And why was the championship race only 20 mins? I thought we had cleared that up.

We did, it was 30. Although a 45er would have allowed me to catch Leinart. :)

Dunno, I would have more of a race with Michael if it was 30 :-/

The total time includes the pace lap and the cool down lap. The leaders total time of racing was 18:29. Add a few minutes each for in and out laps. I certainly don't get to 30 minutes...

Think it was to include time to get the white firebird. Really interesting that they had the yellows out and then they aren't there but the car was still there.

Yeah Dustin-everyone would have caught me if I kept missing 3rd gear.

Ok, that explains it. Forgot about having to extract the firebird. Great weekend. Cheers. Back to the pub.

Yeah sorry about that, but the hole in the side of the block kinda made it difficult to continue. I got off track as soon as I could. Hopefully there wasn't much oil on the track.

Sorry to hear that! I enjoyed racing with you, looking forward to next year!

That flame thrower you have is awesome! I think we need to write it into the rules :) reminds me of the old turbo IMSA cars...

petel, I was right behind you when you popped. No worries, you left no oil on the track!

Sucks about popping the motor, been there too many times to count!

I kept forgetting to tell him this! A little smoke followed by a badass fireball FTW.

As spectacular as it was, I was never able to make that engine run right. Hopefully I'll be back next year with a boring engine
