1986 Mustang race car CMC 34, Texas Region. The car has a current annual inspection for 2015 and has been run most recently at TWS in April 2015. Selling due to family commitments. I hope to return to the track in a few years when my daughter is older and it can be a family event. I still have my weekend toy so I don't plan to be a stranger.

The car has all of the usual race car bits that you would expect in the class. It has dynoed 255 hp/290tq consistently with the same restrictor plate for the last three years. It will certainly make more power and torque with the plate removed, or a larger plate. I did not spend the time to test the limits. I also did not invest the time/money to run fast up front or be competitive, but that does not mean that this car is not capable. I feel like it is a few small setup changes away from running with other Foxes currently at the front with the right driver.

13" Cobra/PBR brakes
8 MB Weapon wheels, 17x9
T5 with road race 5th gear
Aluminum drive shaft with safety loop
Steeda short throw shifter
306 cu in small block, professionally built
Canton road race oil pan, 7 quart capacity
GT40 heads
Recently upgraded valve train
Cobra upper and lower intakes
24 lb injectors, Mass Air Flow meter, Cobra ECM
8.8" rear with Torsen T2R, aftermarket axles, ARP long wheel studs
Maximum Motorsports panhard bar
Maximum Motorsports lower control arms with adjustable perch
Six point roll cage, .120" wall DOM, subframe connectors
Painless wiring harness. All unnecessary wiring has been removed. Car does have operable windshield wipers.
Moroso battery box with Optima Red top
Ultra Shield road race aluminum seat. 16" if I recall correctly.
Window net and right side safety net
Autometer gauges, including memory tach
Florida 5.0 vacuum molded gauge cluster
Momo steering wheel with quick release/disconnect. Device only allows single direction of installation, so there is no fiddling with spline alignment
Steel flares in the rear, fiberglass flares in front to allow for max track with per class rules
Minimum class weight is 3100 pounds. Car weighs 3120 with 180 lb driver.
Maximum Motorsports camber plates
BBK Headers
Bassani X pipe
130 amp 3G alternator conversion
Big Griffin aluminum radiator
CoolShirt cooler setup
AMB wired transponder

I have a title for the car.

I also have a Texas Rollback quickload trailer that I will consider selling with the car for the right price. Will NOT sell trailer without car. If you are hunting for a race ready package deal, I also have a 2006 Chevrolet Duramax/Allison crew cab 4x4 that could go with the deal for the right price. I am not even a little bit interested in selling the truck or trailer without selling the car.

I have a lot of spares, including an entire chassis with title that can also be worked into the right deal.

Let me know what questions you have. I have a few hundred additional photos, so let me know if there is not something shown that you want to see. These photos are current (less than a week old 2015.07.31) and this is exactly how the car looks at this time. It runs and drives well, and is ready for the track this season. Like most race cars, it is not perfectly straight or without history, but it is solid. No, you can't "build one yourself" for this price. Not even close.

Willing to deliver and/or meet halfway in the US in exchange for gas money. Again, if the deal is right.

Taking offers. Asking $9,500 to get you in the ball park.

Well, it sucks it won't be you and The Pasta Dude driving it... but congrats and we'll look forward to having that cheater mustang back out with us. Remind him/her it's customary to bring enough beer for the group their first event.

You guys will like Daniel, and yes it will be good to see the car on track more than I have had it there in the last two years. Raising a child blah blah. :-)
Like you Dave, Daniel is an M3 fanboy and also has an E30 Chump/WRL endurance car. Unlike you, he doesn't like to hit things. Zing! I'm hoping to still make an appearance at most events to hang out and lend a hand. I hear he does like beer....
