Need the snap ring for the 2" Koni Yellows for the 4th gen f-body front. Not sure what other cars in our class also run 2" body konis, but basically need the circlip for the spring perch to sit on.

I already have this available locally, DO NOT need this:

Need this type:

Let me know if anyone has the official Koni ones laying around before I try order them in. I think a standard 2" spiral snap ring would do the trick, but not 100% sure since I don't have an official koni one to compare with anymore. Don't need my suspension collapsing!

if the first one is big/thick enough, can't you just grind the ears off to make it like (close enough to) the second one? Don't use the third style if it really is round - use the square/rectangular one.

Nah, oddly enough that is actually classified as an internal snap ring. An external style would've been the better choice as it would end up having almost 360* of contact in the groove vs 180*. This type I have locally, was considering getting that and grinding it down but it was too risky:

Not sure why the sleeve manufacturer went with the internal style clip; I just used the spiral/square type original to the konis with no problem previously.

This whole mess started when I pulled a blown koni DA off the car and tried to transfer the clip onto a used koni single, but found that the single's groove was thinner than the double's. I tried grinding down the thickness of the clip but realized my mistake; the OD of the ingoing single's shock body was just slightly bigger thus all I had to do was grind the OD of the clip to make the spring sleeve slip on over it. I still put it together with the messed up, over-ground clip so I could get the alignment done and the car rolling.

Anyways, I went ahead and ordered the square spiral type in 1.922 and 2.00 ID off amazon. They are almost perfect except for thickness. The koni clip I have was 1/16" thick while these are 1/32, so I'm hoping just stacking two of them inside the groove is sufficient.

I have been running on borrowed time with a pair of used, old koni DAs up front since 2013. I did, however, start off with new koni singles in the back for 2013, thus my plan was to swap in another used set of koni singles up front for the first half of this season while I finish up the rest of the car. Unfortunately I just now found that one of the singles has a bad adjuster and feels funny when compressing by hand, so it looks like I'll bite the bullet and order in a decent pair or set of shocks sooner rather than later this season.

If anyone has some used konis laying around I'd rather get those and delay buying the good stuff. As a driver I'm still not at the level where I can put them to good use just yet; more likely to screw up the setup with wrong settings until I can get some consistency behind the wheel. More seat time and less building/rebuilding will fix that...
