No i didnt think the cost to transfer was worth it to race 3-4 cars. Staying in cmc for a while since there are always more entries.

Should be at least two AI cars... And I saw Dennis Tanker's car today at the dyno. It's been turned into a proper AI car.. I won't give away the secret sauce.

Spent the day recreating my splitter. Some dumbass (me) left it out behind the shop after cleaning it last weekend. Somebody picked it up for recycling I'm sure...

So, I'm about $225 in materials and 7 hours into the fab job... Have about 2-3 hours left. Yea!!

It was not worth hauling for scrap. We sell several thousand lbs. at a time and get more than most for it and we are only getting $.55 per lb. Only paying around $1.25 per lb for new sheet (5052 H-32.

I'm totally not surprised. A few years ago someone cut the catalytic converter out of my mom's 15 year old 4runner in a movie theater lot, for the platinum/palladium that's in it...

I'm set-up for Sat. if not Friday. Since I can't really adjust anything my dyno run is just three pulls. No timing or fuel pressure adjustments and I have never had to run a restrictor plate at all.

I think Jerry took a page out of VW's book and hooked it to the ABS excitor rings on the front wheels. If they aren't turning, it's restricted. If it sees a square wave, it's unrestricted... :)

I did not know that is how VW did it but I guess I better put the excitor rings back on the car. You are correct David, nobody has found the switch. I bet they never do either.

I know where it's at. Judging by the on board videos, even Jay doesn't even know where it's at. It's a momentary pressure switch on top of the shifter.

The generic NASA tech is supposed to be open from 10:00 to 7:00 on Friday. Is there a time on Friday that one of the AI/CMC directors is going to be around to do annual inspections without waiting in line?
