Just saw this on the Drivers Edge site.


2) Presently there is no real update on the future of Texas World Speedway but, we just got notice of a possibility of staying open past June...??? We'll keep you posted.

That is awesome. I'm signed up to DE there with PCA 6/18-6/19 and assumed it would my last chance to drive that place!

TWS web site schedule now shows we race there 10-15 and 10-16 and there are events scheduled all the way to Dec. 3rd.

I'll have to dig up it up later but a "private" email was leaked a while back that was the track mgmt sending a note out offering reservations to the end of the year.

It's on the Corvette forum too. I would LOVE to make the trek for thar event having missed Hallett if my schedule permits.

It is not yet listed on the main NASA registration website but as soon as someone sees it please let us know so those that want a garage spot can get registered ASAP. Thanks!!

Getting ahold of Will could be way harder than getting us to pay for the garage early. Last TWS event I signed up for the garage way prior to the race.

Usually about 15 in CMC, weather is 60 low / 80 high.
Nice high-speed track. 130 mph straight, a little elevation change, T7 is close to 100 mph and uphill. You gotta sinch-em up for this track!!

Assuming I don't get banned from the track for my recent comments (so what else is new? LOL!) I may splurge for a set of A7's and go hunting for 1:47's. Already been there CW but that might just be the fastest Tub Fairmont ever to circle that track! ;)
