So it sounds like one more time doing TT and then I will be with y'all come in Houston. There does not appear to be a Comp School available for Houston but there will be on in College Station. I guess the saying is practice makes perfect. Something tells me I will be far far from perfect though. I cannot wait to be in the mix with everyone. Turned some decent times at Hallett but still along ways to go, most times on Sunday were in the 1:28s. Anywhere from a second or two off the front. Can't wait though!!!!!!!

Sounds awesome Paul, it looks like TWS is going to be a HUGE field!!!
Did you get your motor issue fixed with it cutting out at 4,300?

I could have sworn there was going to be a comp school at the next event, I had checked the sign up a month or so ago. Went to sign up today and it was gone. It's quite possible I'm losing my mind a bit (saving weight...)

Is there any possibility of a comp school opening up for the next event?

Josh,
I talked to Will about a month ago and he indicated there would NOT be a comp school at MSR-H. Logistically, the best option for NASA is to hold it at TWS in October and I believe that is still the plan.

I'd suggest reaching to to Will for any clarifications. The best method to do that would be phone as Will doesn't frequent the intraweb much and email responses can be slow at times.

Marshall,
Yeah... I've left Will a message (email and phone). I've called him a couple of times this year and not heard back, is that normal?

Not sure if I'll bother running the DE or TT weekend at MSR-H at this point, may be wise to skip and save the cash for TWS.

Is there a possibility of the comp school at TWS getting canceled?

Wow, I guess nothing has changed on that front.

I am guessing Will and Nasa are getting focused on the National Championships right now. The next last race at TWS should have a big enough turnout to justify a comp school I would think.

Great to see new drivers (even if CMC). Depending on your preferred machine, I don't think you will find drivers or racing anywhere else in the world any better than the Texas region Thunder or Spec Miata run groups! I might be a little biased.

Josh,
I just got in touch with Will and he should have replied to you now. Sorry for the delay.

Ya turned out to be stupid opti. Ran like a top until I think I over heated the new one at Hallet because it just shutdown during the last session. Started right up once I got it home though. I will bringing an extra with me to Houston just incase.
