Can't find any sources on the net, but I'm still on Apex's mailing list.

John Holmes said in an email that Keith passed yesterday, the 12th.

Sad day for the local motorsports community. He was a very generous racer.

Prayer of comfort to all the friends and family

Wow! I wonder what the cause was?? I know the ranch lost another member this past weekend to a motorcycle accident.

Prayers for his family.

I got word of this mid day Tuesday. This is the second Apex friend I've lost, and Andre was nearly a third. Trying to get more details as well. Will share.

Spec Miata sites and Ferrari chat claims it was very sudden and unexpected. Heart attack is suspected.

That was a Street smart event. It was supposed to be like an extension of a motorcycle safety course.
Any genre of bike was welcome and relaxed gear requirements was the draw.
When I road past MSR at daybreak thee was a line waiting to get in and met 2 dozen riders headed that way.

But, like 4-wheeled events, Valentino Rossi shows up and everyone is a hero.
A 150hp, 300lb bike for $3K makes a lethal combination.
