As I sit here, content with a hefty Thanksgiving lunch and a solid Cowboys victory, I'm sitting back thinking about how blessed I am to have the ability to participate in Motorsport's. It is truly my passion and when I have ideas in my head, it keeps me up at night and wakes me in the morning as I "bench race" my next iteration of the car thru my head, research underdeveloped areas of my car and then be able to put some of the ideas into practice.

All of the above would not be anywhere near possible without the guidance from not only my faith, but also a wonderful family. My parents instilled a very strong work ethic and financially solid mindset early in my life. This has also allowed me to meet what is one of the best groups of friends I've ever met. I've been able to call you all friends almost as long as my core group of high school/college friends... I'm truly thankful for NASA and the ability to get together 6-7 times per year to enjoy a truly awesome past time.

I'm going to let the turkey digest today and get back to the shop tomorrow to continue the off season maintenance and development that will hopefully find some precious time at the track in 2017!

I hope each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and can get your "to do" list finished over this holiday weekend (at least what "can" get done in a few days off...)

Stay safe and we will see you in January!!

I was hoping for some Texan revelations on how to cook a turkey more better than the other 49 states.

Happy late Thanksgiving everyone!!
As Marshall stated, had a great Family weekend and cheered on a Cowboys victory. Even got to watch a Tech victory over Baylor on Friday, sorry Jerry + Jay. ;^)

Only got to do a little work on the racecar as I got some tires swapped / flipped and got the car outside + on jackstands to pressure-wash the gunk from the underside. Now I have a nice clean area to yank the trans out again to try and get my grinding issues fixed for good.

Looking forward to a great 2017 race season!!

I was hoping for some Texan revelations on how to cook a turkey more better than the other 49 states. 17lbs, Rub 2.0, smoke 3 hours, 350 degrees until instant thermometer says 165.

sorry late. works with chickens too... say for chicken/sausage gumbo to displace the turkey.

Blessed to know you guys/gals... even the Cowboy's fans.
