What harness are you guys using? Mine expired and can't really decide what to go with. I had a Schroth Clubman which I had no issues with, but figured I'd see what else is out there.

I've got a G-Force camlock harness in my car. I have 0 complaints and the price point is good in the G-Force stuff. Mine expires next year and probably going with the Schroth Hans harness.

I just bought a G-Force part #7500; $170ish on amazon and FIA good till 2021.

I am curious what the schrotch gets you over a run of the mill G force though?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a hard time paying $400 for a harness that I have to junk after 5 years.

The webbing is nicer, adjustments are better, both are noticeable every time I use mine, I've used cheap harnesses and they just piss me off now.

I have the G-Force "Pro-Series". FIA belt.
The lap belts loosen over the course of a race and I don't feel the shoulder restraints tighten very well. They are always tight, but doesn't have a good "pull" feel when you tighten them up.

I'll be buying the Schroth Clubman at the end of the season when mine expire. For $40 more, I'm okay with the $10/yr premium for a nicer belt.

I upgraded to Schroth from G-Force and will not go back. I was constantly pulling the G-Force shoulder straps during a race. I want my straps will stay tight all the time just in case I need them.

I run the Schroth Hans harnesses that get narrower around your neck so it fitst he Hans better-the camlock also works great. And the 6pt. Don't know if its hybrid or profi. I like them much better than the ones that don't get narrower for the hans and I don't like the latch/link style. If it's $200 more and lasts 5 years then $40 more per year so $10 per event-meaning get what you like, what works and safe. I'm pretty sure mine were tested when I totaled the black car and have no complaints.

I run the full width Schroth and this is my second set. I like the feel and they stay put. In fact, sometimes adjusting the sub belts is tough because they won't move easily.

Decided to go with the Schroth Clubman again. Maybe if I can stop going through engines I'll step it up to one of the better ones in the future.

I think 2017 is gonna be our year. Start and finish the season on the same engine. Hadn't done that before.

I broke my curse this past event and finished all 4 races for the first time in something like 4 SEASONS... My car really hasn't liked R4's for some reason.. LOL.

I just sprung for a yellow Racetech 6pt. Gotta keep the Ronald McDonald look. I'm hoping they'll stay tight unlike the G-Forces.

Schroth, sabelt, or safecraft all the way! Gforce is cheap but junk if compared to the higher end belts. The latches and ease of buckling along with the smoothness of tightening is night and day in the higher end belts. You get what you pay for! I personally favor the sabelt latches but wanted to try schroth once before I went back. Both are great.

So the Racetech harness wasn't gonna be here in time for my March race and I pulled the plug. Found a local Schroth harness with a year left for free fiddy and holy crap, without even racing I can tell a difference. These bad boys are gonna keep me pinned to the seat for sure. Looks like I'll be opening the wallet pretty wide next year for a sweet ass harness that does what it's told.
