My brother just ran a race with CMRA at Cresson. I was telling him about us having to run the 1.8 at TWS in Oct. They also have a race in Oct. at TWS. He was telling the guys that run CMRA about us having to run the 1.8 and the guy told him it is possible there will not be any races at all in Oct. The story is that a few groups have backed out of their scheduled events due to having to run the 1.8. CMRA was told if a few more groups back out TWS will cancel the rest of this years events.

I may postpone my oil pan swap next month if that's the case, hoping we can figure it out well before MSRH.

I guess my 1:57.2 on the 2.9 is the best I'll ever get. Oh well.

Since they (TWS) kind of screwed us maybe we should run the Oct. Central event at Hallett instead? It's not like it's going to be our normal fun TWS track. I'm game if we could get ten or so CMC cars to go. I understand there are no CMC cars in the NASA central.
