I know it's a long shot, but was wondering if anyone who has stripped down an LT1 car still has a box of interior wiring taking up space in their garage.

I'm looking specifically for a door chime module, p/n 14101255

Let me know if you have one.

Thanks

Gary... Dang.. I just cleaned out my shop a couple of months ago and probably had one. I will double check, but I don't think I have one now.

Okay I have to ask. Why? Who wants to listen to that chime?

Thanks for the lead, but they're out of stock too.

Right now, the street car has a buzzer, a really, really annoying buzzer. The 'ding' this one has doesn't make you want to pull your ears off.

It's easy enough to disable the chime for the seat belt reminder (circuit open when buckled, just unplug the connector at the seatbelt). I grew up always wearing a seatbelt so it feels weird for me not to wear one, so I don't need the reminder. It can be annoying when working on and starting the car.

Ignition off/door open also will cause it to buzz/ding, but pulling the key out slightly from the ignition switch stops that, unlike newer cars when you really have to remove it completely from the ignition switch to make it stop.

What I do mainly want it for is headlights being left on as they're not automatic. Quite often it's dark when I leave for work, but light enough when I get there not to realize the headlights are still on.

There was one in the parts car... may or may not work but it's free to you.

Funny timing Gary....I finally ripped the factory harness out of my car last night and it's sitting on the garage floor. I just checked for you but there's nothing that matches your picture. I either ditched the dinger years ago or the 97 harness uses a different annoyance device. Let me know if you need anything else though. It'll go to storage for a while in case I need to rob a connector or two when I rewire the car.

Appreciate it. They went to a BCM in either '97 or '98.

Dave got me squared away.
