I know the holiday times are always busy with family get-togethers but wanted to see who would be interested in getting together for an End of Season celebration before the start of the 2019 season.

Was thinking of Saturday 1/12/19 so it is after the holidays and 2-weeks before the 1st event.

Nothing is planned yet but a central location in College Station has seemed to work good in the past.
Please let me know if you would be interested and able to make it for this event and if there is enough interest we can get details scheduled.

Always interested... gotta check calendar. Maybe we can watch the 2015 video again. We'll pull a hollywood and just do a re-release and call it 2018.

What is everyone's opinion on the banquet in general? We can't really coordinate a banquet for 5 total people so please let me know what would be better.

Would you prefer to do awards at the first event of the year?
Do you like the banquet idea but the specific date doesn't work? Was there not enough advance notice?
Are you not interested in the banquet idea at all?
If we scheduled the 2019 season banquet now and put it on the calendar a year in advance, would that make you more likely to attend?

Just wanting to bounce around ideas to appeal to the masses to better coordinate for the future.
Any opinion or feedback is greatly appreciated!!

What is everyone's opinion on the banquet in general?

Not that I feel this way, but the general answer is:

If I won the championship, I would want a big banquet with everyone in attendance to celebrate my awesomeness. If I didn't win the championship, it sure would be cool to hang out with my racing buddies for a while... as long as I didn't have to drive too far and it didn't interfere with the rest of the stuff in my life...

It would be hard for me to make it, unless it was tied to a race?
Having said that I am not going to make a race until cresson...

Another reason Hallett should be the last race of the season...
