I buddy parted out a '95 and gave me the tank. It looks new inside. Should I seal it up tight or just keep the dust and dirt out?

Id just tape over the holes and call it good.

That OEM SN95 tank is awesome. I went through 3 Fox tanks over the years and all of them would start to fuel starve after drinking about 8 gallons. After switching to the SN95 tank last year I have never had an issue.

After goign through the effort to put in a cell, I echo what Michael says. Reinforce the baffles in the SN95 tank and rock out.

I found a Mustang only wrecking yard and I just bought a stock tank out of a 2002 with all the lines attached.
$200.00 delivered to me in Hutto.

what makes the fox tank diff from sn95? Was there a design change internally on the sn95 tank? My car just this yr started to starve when I get below a half tank which is odd since it never did that for the last 5yrs until now.

4.6 cars are return less iirc so they are different, 94-95 is spot welded vs fox being brazed, both eventually fail, sn is more durable, buy either and reinforce the excellent oem baffle

Only the 99+ are returnless. 96-97 have basically the same setup as the 5.0, including the computer. The 98 is some sort of hybrid that either has coil on plug with a return fuel system, or it still has coil packs but has a returnless system. I don't remember for sure.

Interesting! Well I guess the good ones are 94-97 then for tanks.

Richard told me about this product. Should make any tank good to the last drop.

I've had my eye on that, would cost a few bucks since it won't just snap on the existing pump. I think instead I'll slap in the plastic LS style tank I already have to help with starvation.
