Nankang NS-2R $113 a tire shipped

Just ordered a set of Nankang NS-2R for $113 a tire shipped from Simple Tire. It's a 255/40/17. This is the tire that Spec Vette has moved to this year. I think this is the last day for this deal or the sale they are having at Simple. I think their normal shipped price is $147. Just thought it was a good deal on a set of "practice" tires. Will see if I ever get on track to try them.

Good tire. I've seen 1.5g on them in the vette with a 285/18. Gspeed used them on their endurance cars in WRL and would get 8 hours on a set with 4 different goobers beating the shit out of the car. What was left has tons of tread left. Fun tire. Been using them on the CMC as well.

Biggest I'm seeing is a 265/35/18, bummer. My Vette needs tires and I'd be down for a cheap, grippy tire.

There is a 295/18 now too. Check Phil's race tire... Has most all of them.

Ugh, 295/30 like all the rest. At least there's a 285/35 in there.
