Have some vette DE guys who want to come. What about the Time Trail guys? If we can get 50 out of Thunder, Miata, and Super Unlimited then that would be great having track time and less crowded. But if we need another group of 15-20 it's better than nothing.

There will be insurance. I'm not sure on the non race car stuff. I never pay twice when Jay and I split driving duties. Why does anyone need to know? I also assume We will use the garage spots we already paid for. I will get these questions answered on Monday. They are having a COMMA event this weekend.

Hi Sean, once we know that 50 participants have registered for this new event, garages will be booked as first come, first served.

All NASA garages for the 2020 event they cancelled have been carried forward to 2021 to hold your spot for next year. However, you can choose to release that garage booking for 2021 and that apply credit to this new event or just book a garage for this event and keep your 2021 reservation, up to you. But not until the event is announced as a GO. Then you can contact Karen to book a garage.

So I have had several asking me if we are going to run with AI/CMC rules. I assume so. If some pull their restrictor and some don't (or can't because they don't run one) in my opinion it will not be as fun. Now there are several that are going to run a different tire but I don't see that as an issue since these other tires should not be as fast as the RR.

Tech is just for safety and not a class. I think you should declare that your running and legal for AIX/AI/CMC and we should have starts just like we normally do. If someone wants to run different than normal than either bump up to AI or AIX. So just because this isn't nasa doesn't change the way things should be unless we all agree.

I have said many times and people have argued against me but this is going to prove that we can run AI/CMC without NASA and run with any organization and however we want. But I always believe people that are going to cheat have already been cheating.

I'm also pumped that people will be on 3-4 different types of tires and nobody is throwing a fit about someone not running a Toyo. Amazing what happens when a few people don't have toyo bucks on the line.

Thankfully our family is all healthy but this Covid crap has thrown a kink into our normal kid care and travel logistics. I can't wait to hear about the event and see video of the excitement!! I was really looking forward to running Hallett CW, but with the joys of oil, gas and chemicals industry, there's just too much uncertainty for us right now since we're both with Fluor. I kept delaying chiming in on this thread or registering in hopes something would come up work-wise. There's basically NO active projects going on in our Sugar Land office right now. The company wasn't in the greatest shape before all this covid stuff and now it's worse with most people being laid-off or put on LOA. Laura has been demoted to part time (5 hrs/wk) since April, and my project was finally shelved a week ago (makes 3 in a row for projects I've been on that have been "postponed"). It's so bad, Laura applied for a position in Fluor's Government Group for a site assignment near Plaquemine, Louisiana (Boudy???) and I've managed to weasel my way to get some part time work on a different project in the same government group.

Be sure to have some sanitizer at impound for any on track contact!
