What’s everyone’s plans? It will be hot. I’m on the fence...

"...All socially dense gatherings such as barbecues and beer gardens are suspended until further notice."

What's the cost, do we know yet?

Last I saw was $749...

unsure if that is a "conditional" price.

$799 for racing. $749 HPDE according to national site. Don't know what a conditional price is and Covid protocols.

I will not be attending.

Not a chance in hell. I hate race weekends in summer heat. You guys have fun.

I’m curious if the event will happen with the new spike in Rona cases.

I'd love to make it.

I am curious what the specific Covid details are regarding beergardens. I get that they don't want a gathering of 30 people but what if we have 10 people all in folding chairs socially distancing correctly?
The last thing I want to do is remain a hermit in my paddock spot.

Chin is holding a BIG event there today...I'm guessing NASA will cancel all events through 2022 by Monday at Noon....

It’ll be interesting for sure. Governor said gatherings over 100 required government approval so idk how they’ll pull that off for this event.

Probably a simple process and a form. All it takes is effort...oh wait.

All,
I just got off the phone with Will.

- COTA is registered with the state to support 100K people so they have everything in place to support the NASA attendance numbers, so the risk of canceling the event at this time is low

- We will still be able to pit together (support pits, etc) and hang out between races, etc as long as our chairs are a reasonable spacing from each other.

- Evening beer drinking won’t be scrutinized as long as we are being smart and not sharing coolers, etc.

- The garages will still be able to support four cars (plus their drivers and crew members), but gatherings should be minimized to keep folks from possibly complaining about the lack of social distancing, etc.

As a general note, COTA has installed numerous hand sanitizing stations around the facility.

It will be nice to be able to wash your hands after you have to poop in the grass because there are no porta-potties...
