Lord willing and the creek don't rise Team Jordan will be there. I wish we could get 20 cars in CMC. I did see Will's Facebook post saying there will be three race groups so at least there will not be 50 cars in our run group. Two former national champions in CMC told me that winning The Hallett Summer Shootout was more important and harder to do than willing nationals.

I know of one former National Championship winning SN95 and one fourth gen for sale. The fourth gen you may could make a deal on to rent or purchase.

If R. English is gonna join us, I'll have to change my car #. Probably just use tape and change to 177.

Ole E is signed up-maybe we can get a podium group for the over 60 class.

Wow-already 15 CMC cars signed up and Randy is only CO guy signed up so expecting to have more sign up. Could we crack a 20 car field and have the biggest group at a NASA event? We are still consistently the second largest race group but get no respect.

We know it's going to be "Awesome"

I'm hoping to add 3 more CO bodies, we'll see. FYI we're racing at Pueblo July 10-11, that's the track closest to you guys.

You'll need an annual DE license in addition to registration. Don't worry - it'll let you know all that at checkout.

Why is Texas NASA so expensive? You guys still racing in your basements?
I’m there and hopefully Dustin, Robert Weston, and the Pumpkin can make it. Where is Flyin’ Bryan Curtis.
Get signed up and who will be the guy that gets beat by the guy who’s on social security? Don’t be that guy. Thats right I’m on SS, but Hallett Still makes my butt look big.
Also just bought 3 new tires. It’s on.

Which is $100 more than it used to be. Still though, we seem to be sheltered. Most NASA regions don't get 4 races in from what I understand.

Well then I guess that is why the price was so much higher at MSRC (repave the week after our event) and ECR (repave last year). So MSRH is only $299.00 I assume?

We are up to 17 so far in CMC with a few still not signed up yet.
Are you going to be able to make it Dan Allford, Bryan Curtis, and Ryan Mcfall?
Also I see Dustin Mozader still needs to sign up. Do you have any others coming down from Colorado?

19 so far in CMC and we still need Dustin and Dan to sign up.
Any other folks from Colorado or the Great Lakes thinking of making it down?
If any Texas folks are thinking of bring their cars out from a little break away from the track then this is definitely the event to attend!!!

Are the rates gonna go up again? I wanna make sure I don't destroy the car this weekend before pulling the trigger on Hallett if there are no consequences. Negotiations with the spousal unit are g2g. We'll be trying to win over more Hallett converts this weekend too.

I'll check with AMCM Management too... we need a projector and some sound at Hallett. Time to bring out the home movies again: https://vimeo.com/33429015

My car didn't blow up, so your Dyno should be coming along to OK.

michaelmosty
05-25-2021, 12:05 PM
Yes, everyone needs to have a 2021 dyno on file with me for the event. No need to get an Oklahoma dyno if you are out of state.

I still have the dyno's in file from our first 3 events this year in TX but if you have not provided a copy to me please do so on Friday at Hallett.

Any idea if the schedule on nasatx.com is very accurate? 20 in CMC - CMC is Dead, Long Live CMC. 10 in AMCM and 4 in AI. Going to be interesting with 34 cars on track between bus stop and carousel.

I'm not sure, I'll ping Marshall on this.
I do see our group currently has 34 racers where the other two race groups combined have 32 total. The biggest issue is with the other two race groups only having 1 race on Sunday, where us and AMCM have 4 races.

edit:
I just confirmed that both groups B and C requested longer Championship races on Sunday with the 3 race format. We will just have the bragging rights of having the biggest and most bad ass group at the event!!
It should still be easy with having 2 separate flags for with AMCM first and then AI/CMC. We will be on the same race format as them with Toyo / Standing start races for R1 and R4 and invert rolling starts for R2 and R3.

Only four or five SM's at my last count. Is the SM lower count still the fallout from the Nationals deal? Haven't been big SM fields at any event since then as I remember it.

Same here. Fields were 30-40 before that happened. Now they're more in the 15-20 range.
