Here's my Race 4 video. The start went great, then I messed it all up in the bowl. And then my exhaust fell off. Good times.

And here's video from Jerry's POV of me punting Bob Denton in race 2. I forgot to plug in my front camera, so I have no onboard video. That was the tightest traffic I've been in, and I got overwhelmed and did a stupid thing. Bob was a gentleman about it.

I have good video of Sam's incident with David in race 1, but I won't put that online without the consent of Sam and David.

I appreciate the perspective though. Sam and I are cool in all regards. Bryan and I are cool in all regards. There can be a lot to learn from other people's experience. In that regard, expect a double yellow flag post from me shortly - get ready to be going pretty slow in the future if you happen to be behind me.

I have bitched and bitched for ten years about how I think we are going to kill someone during a double yellow. Sat. night during Slip and Flip I was telling Rob and Randy how much I worry about it. We don't pass under DY but everyone runs 9.8 tents. .....at least. What if your brakes fail completely when the EV is pulling Daniel out of Buss stop? I'm as guilty as all the rest. I try to keep up or catch up with the car in front of me. I never can because they are running WFO also.

There was no denying that after the race. He should repaint his car the same as someone else's.

Finally got 3 of them uploaded. Camera ran out of juice in R2, I'd plugged the thing into the inverter after R1 but left the inverter off. Smooth. For R1, I qual'd 4th and slithered up to 2nd place. I want to thank John for his start on that one, it helped my by him and flyin Bryan. I had a bobble in T1 late in the race and John took a peek, but I held my position.

R2 had some yellow flag drama and after seeing how it went down, I would have made the same mistake. I finished 7th here, but got bumped to 4th. I think in R3 I started 8th, passed as much inverted traffic as I could, stuck to Bob's bumper for most of it, then followed an AMCM car down the inside of T10 on the last lap to snipe 2nd. John was in his own zip code at this point.

And now for the final. I came in with the pole, but screwed the pooch getting back on the gas with John in T1. He did not blow the start on this one, figures. I hounded him for a couple of laps, then missed 3rd leaving the bitch and that was all the gap he needed to do his thing. In the yellow, there was an AI car between me and John so I never could get close enough to do anything. Not like we had much time, the checker came right out after the yellow.

First time I've been on the podium down there, it felt pretty good to do it. Hopefully nothing prevents me from coming back down next year.

Race 4 I'm all up on Randy's ass until Sam relieves me to fight it out for a bit but decides to miss a shift... then I drive past my skill level... damn he's hard to get by... also try to ignore my terrible downshifts...

I think I had 1/4 of the left side in the grass going by Randy and Steve with visions of Al and Turn 2 dancing in my head.

I also think I saw where I rubbed Pranav... I had zero recollection after the race.

I certainly don't know how I kept it together and didn't take out the whole pack, was stuck in the swarm of bees. Note to self.... much less rear brakes...
