RIP - Tom Walter

Many of you may have know Tom Walter. He worked at NOLA in Race Control and drove a slick classic Ford F100. I just received a call from Clifton saying that Tom passed away today. Tom had back surgery at the end of July and recently developed a respiratory infection the doctor's couldn't resolve.
If you are so inclined to do so, please keep Tom's family in your thoughts and prayers. He recently had to place his wife, Charlene in a memory care facility about a month ago as well so I know his family is having to deal with a lot right now.

I never met Tom but I certainly saw that truck. I made a point to go down to the tower to see it. Prayers to his family.

I may have met him a couple times but enjoyed following him on Facebook. I was sad to see his recent news about Charlene and none of us expected his passing. :(
