Ok, a 'Cuda at Spa is cool, period. However, where's the rest of the video where the 'Cuda driver kicked the ass of that little POS car's driver that was in front of him for most of that vid?? Tell me there was an John Wayne style whoopin in the pits after that fiasco.

Otherwise, bring that car back to the States.

Cool car.... That little blue car needs a lesson or two about life.

Alright, I'll say it. The 'Cuda driver doesn't know how to pass.
Point and shoot gun fighter style doesn't get it done.
Carries no corner momentum.

Food for thought ... did Jeff learn the "I respect you as a person and your mad driving skilz" salute from him or was Jeff the teacher?

Kibitz amongst yourselves ...

Ok, I am with Jeff. The driver of the Cuda' had his hands full and was over driving and under driving the car.

THe BMW driver should have been bumped or as Bobby Archer says "Helped ho make the right decisions." However it appears the driver of the Cuda' was as Jeff said "Point Shoot" I am sure the BMW driver had had enough of and was trying to hold him off. His actions were very deliberate.

I agree with Birch - the guy in the 'Cuda drives like so many other vintage high horsepower drivers - very frustrating.

Have you ever driven a vintage racer...? They don't have much use for the brakes or steering wheel and the only thing that usually works well is the gas pedal!!!

Nope - never driven a vintage racer, but been stuck behind vintage cars on the track and you're right. I got so mad at a Sunbeam Tiger at Mid-Ohio once that I seriously considered bumping him off the track on more than one occasion and then tracked him down in the pits and told him to get the f*** out of my way next time.

Vintage cars in general leave much to be desired as far as driveability. I get asked every so often why I never drive or work on my 70 Chevelle or 69 Torino - it's because they just don't work that well even when you do keep them running and driving. Still can't bring myself to get rid of either of them though.

Let me know when you're ready to liberate garage space and I'll take that chevelle off of your hands.

Morgan -

All very good ideas, but I just can't seem to bring myself to do that to such an original car and very low mileage car it's sort of like a time capsule- even has the original spiral shocks on it.

My big block Torino with 200,000 miles on it is another story and what I should do is sell the Chevelle and put the money into the Torino. I just need the right $hove.

Sorry, I've been out of town.......

Good eye on the camper special. that was my neighbor's truck, 1973?, 460, 4.30:1 gears, Auto, Air, 50,000 miles. He sold it not long after that picture was taken. Made a cool looking combo in my opinion.

I had a '75 Camper Special 4X4....same color as the bottom half of that one. I miss that old truck.

That's funny about missing that truck. I borrowed that truck only once, but driving it was strangely familiar and like an old friend.

When I was a kid, Dad had a 1972 truck like that, but red and white.

We would go out and cut wood for the fireplace and load that truck down with so much wood that the truck would literally float down the road.

It was my first vehicle to really drive. I got to drive in the pasture. I was probably around 10 years old at the time.

Those ole trucks were tough ... I drove a 72 302, 3 "on the tree" all through college.

With all this talk I need to get my '73 Cutlass Supreme out of the garage. It is the first car I learned to drive, my Dad ordered it from the factory with the Rocket 350 and a 4 speed with a Hurst shifter. It has over 200k on the odometer and the only thing that has been rebuilt is the trans. It still has the original brake rotors on it.
