Page 163, lower right hand corner. One-liner saying that NASA TX crowned Jeff Burch as the CMC 2006 Champion. You have to look very hard.

Congrats Jeff, sorry it wasn't the full race report we submitted.

Jeesh, they gave writing credits to 3 of us, me, EV, and Tony G.

Cool!
Beats a kick in the nuts I guess.
There's always room for improvement with GRM.
I'm sure they needed all the room for their diesel volvo wagon hop-up-how-to or
how to to AX your mothers 4 banger Pontiac P-body (Fiero).
Maybe someday NASA will publish their own rag like
Sports Car.

Now, if they spell my name correctly on the Piston Cup........

thx guys,
jb

I guess even the Texas folks missed the note about team Marvel/Pedersen and Skip in the AI section.

That was it!!!
They got us in there!
AI, AIX and CMC from Texas was included.
The reason they gave credits to Tony G, Mike B and Eric V is that our 3 writeups which were submitted were condensed down to what you saw there!

Welcome to the world of magazine publishing!
We are so lucky to have gotten all the press we did in years past.
We'll continue to submit more succinct reports but we really have to be gracious for what we get.

Hey!!! That dead horse just got up and galloped away!!!

You want to see some top shelf writing take a look at SCCA's Sports Car mag.

I have been denied, convicted and insulted in that thing!

I still love the one liner in GRM about how Kevin Mixon and his Corvette had their ass handed to them by the World Challenge Viper Comp Coupe a full class up at the Championships.

FYI
on page 157 is an ad for NASA SE.
4 event weekends for the low price of $899.00

I wonder if this is a quick way to pay for the new dyno they just bought.

Not a bad marketing ploy ...

Entice folks to sign up for multiple events, get a 10 or 15% discount on entry fees and get a solid handle on car count in order to staff accordingly.
