Is anyone else having a hard time finding CMC size RA1's? My local shop is having to get some in from Amarillo. PST is not local to me in Houston and I want the tires here so I can mount them up before heading to Cresson. The online shops I looked at had backorder messages.

Be careful with EdgeRacing, they dicTed me around last time I bought from them.

I didn't have a hard time at all.
After only looking a few minutes I found 2 new shaved tires next to the workbench right near to the jack! 8)

Vilven should be the litmus for the supply/demand.

Rob, I'm sure PST has or can get the Toyo's and have them mounted by the first practice, they sure have been good to us all, I'm sure AJ will and or match any price issues

give AJ a call. he can have them mounted pretty quick. if you let them know, they may stay late friday or come in early saturday for ya. otherwise call Vilvin. when used them, the tires hit my door in 2 days.

I have a new set of 3/32 you can have.
Trade for a set of 2/32 when you can get them to me (ASAP).

These are the tires I was saving for Mid Ohio but there is time to get another set. Your call. I can send them or bring to track Fri afternoon 3/2/07.

I think Bobby Archer is the Toyo suppler down here directly from Toyo.
817491-0033.

Say what you want, but Bobby has a new level of dedication to NASA and the Sport. He is also the only 'True" Professional tackside support we have other than PST at MSR-C. He has saved my ass many times at a track weekend by having that odd part I need to get back on the track.

Bobby keeps Toyo's in stock and shaved to 3/32. He can also mount them for you trackside.

that is whats good about Bobby - trackside suport.
but he has also tried to sell me a bum set of RA1's. total crap shave job on them.
that and he lied to me about the fire suit i ordered for 5 weeks leaving me w/ no suit 5 days before the start of the season. i had to get it from AJ @ PST. took him 2 days.
i'll use Bobby when i have to and its great that he's going to be there, just be carefull when dealing w/ him.

Sounds like Bobby is going to give me a new set of tires to replace the bad shave I got last time. Still crossing my fingers, but he was very cool on the phone and receptive.
Kudos to him for making it right. I will definitely continue doing business with him if he does me right on this deal.
