I'm thinking about replacing the master cylinder. I can't get the brake pedal as firm as I would like.
Is there any benefit to getting a new one from Chevy or are the Autozone/Advanced/etc good enough?

Firm, hard, I was in trouble no matter how I worded the question. :D
No opinion on their durability, but MCs last long enough that I would probably buy the cheaper of the two if I needed one.
might not be the m/c....check the interior axle ends on the rear end for slop....causes pad knockback....ask me how I know.....
The power booster was causing me issues once.
