CMC17 is alive again

It fired right up but had a knock on the right bank. I could feel it. I took off the valve cover and started it back up (these Fords sure don't oil the top end like a small block Chevy) without the cover and no knock. I set the cover on and pulled the coil wire and turned it over with the starter. Valve cover goes up and down. I call Michael and the first thing he ask is if it's on the passenger side. Yes it is so it's the baffle for the oil fill tube. Sure was a scare. Can't wait to s what the dyno thinks about this hot rod.
