I don't have any videos. Just the reason the #82 was sidelined: driveline shock.

Well that is pretty ugly...
BTW.. Did ya'll race in the rain? I saw some really fast times... and some really slow times for various races.
Race 3 started in a heavy downpour that tapered off until the race was over. Corey went for a wild ride coming out of turn 2 as did a few others. I'm looking forward to seeing some video!
I should have some good video of Dan and Michael going off in the rain race.
wow... It would have been better for the collective good to loan you mine. Orange just wouldn't turn left. Good thing camera refused to work so I don't have video of everybody passing me at ease.
The R3 video makes it look like a spring shower... on the cool down lap I was in first gear, about 2 feet from the left track edge so I could see something. After Gary passed me and got 4-5 cars up, I couldn't even see his brake lights through the water/fog on the windshield.
Other notes from R3 - Michael and Dan tried an "alternative" line out of T1 - Mosty set a new CMC NASCAR section record and Dan had the highest recorded reverse wheel speed of the event, thus leading to post 2 above.
Oh, and the Stormtrooper sounds awesome with the exhaust flowing better.
I think it rained immediately in front of wherever my car was all weekend.
On Saturday I watched races, saw a bunch of friends, drank beer, ate hamburgers, drank Jack and Coke, watched Aussie V8 Supercars destroy a track surface, passed out, locked Michael and Reagan out of the motorhome (Sorry!) then passed out again. On Sunday I felt much better (Hungry Caterpillar joke for those who remember the book). Then I drove Sean's 3rd gen, won DE4, we talked about some things it needs but overall it is a good car, taught him how to adjust the slack in his steering gear and then watched him pass Gary and Al on the inside of turns one and two in the fourth race!!!!
Good times.
So does anybody have video of my dumb ass spinning out in turn #1 on race #3? Looking for orange #23.
I love my rains...

I forgot to grab printed copies of R1 and R3 results for Toyo Bucks. Does anyone have a copy they can scan/post?
Is there any "media" in the "OCT TWS post race media thread?"
Orange course there is now... http://vimeo.com/108859007
I'd like to see my "video bomb" of Corey's Late Model Restoration interview... ;)
Grats on the win Marshall !! - well deserved in the rain.
David, at least your video does not show me hitting you. Those damn boys in front of me were wrecking at every corner. I am sorry for the contact. I thought you hit me and you thought it was me getting two off in turn two then jumping back on track. We were both wrong.......it happened in turn one and it was me moving over into you trying to not hit Al or Glenn. Good thing we have video.
JJ
Still think it was Al's fault he got punted.
Congrats to both Michael's for breaking the AI and CMC records in what might be the last TWS race ever... Well deserved. To Mike Patterson, I know you've been chasing that unicorn for many, many years. Coming close on Saturday was heartbreak, but catching it on Sunday I'm sure was a pinnacle event. Congrats guys.
I know that Mosty guy who broke the CMC record just got lucky. He was on 10+ heat cycle RR's, so he was actually at a handicap since they are dead after three heat cycles... :)
That's the longest lasting almost-save I've ever seen! Even though I knew the outcome, I was still routing for Al in the video.
Now you can rout (or root) for Al even more! From the magic of silicon and tiny, tiny bits: https://vimeo.com/108965954
Viewing Note: video should be up around 9:05pm CPT 10/14/14
Got my two videos up.
I really should've just pulled into the pits in R2, seeing how much smoke was there. I somehow thought it might get better. The straight-away proved me wrong. Good video of the contact with the SI car and Patterson, too.

Now it's a real race car
That's a kind of offensive comment. Except I agree with it. He's on the brakes as he's swerving in front of Glenn. I doubt it was on purpose but it looks like Al did it on purpose. I don't see how it could be considered Glenn's fault. Except for the rule book thing...
Richard P.
Richard - No secret between me and Al about how I feel about it. He knows. He did cut down on purpose as he knew I was going to blow by him on the inside of 1. His move was to prevent that. I obviously wasn't on the brakes prior to contact like I thought. I don't think Al thought it was that close before he moved.
No big deal. I was there for fun. Sat was fun, Sunday sucked ass.
Here is my terrible video of R3, the vis in the video was the same as for me, I was driving the track by memory, couldn't see a car until 20-30ft away, I'm happy to be alive!

Dead car update......
Went into the garage to start troubleshooting it. Fired right up. Code 42 is set. Testing needed. ICM on the "To Buy" list.
Confirmed that the ICM was the issue. See you guys in 2 weeks at my least favorite track.
I totally had it saved...just ran out of track.
