24 Hours of LeMons @ MSRH in Oct!

I find it hard to believe that there WOULDN"T be a licensing requirement. I've done 12 hour enduros and can tell you that traffic is the biggest challenge, not the car or the driver. So I'm all for a license requirement.

I can see Adam's job as the Comp Licensing Director becoming more challenging this year!!! hahahaha

I've got 9 people on our team so far and 5 of them need licenses. They all plan to do Racecraft this year, anyway, so there should be no issues for us. However, one of them called MSR-H today and they say they are doing what they can to get their insurance to okay the on-site licenses.

BTW, all but Martin and Mike (NASA TX Honda Challenge driver) are AI/CMC or future AI/CMC and a third of the team is female. All have been chosen for their vast experience at driving heaps.

Keep in mind they only allow 6 drivers per team... you might have to find two cars!!!

The SA team is back on line. Found a $400 87 325 bimmer that does not run with clean papers. The car seams sound and the history is consistant with a timing belt failure. I'll pick it up on sat and tear into it after round one. FMR

Anyone in Austin want to form a team?

I found this Merkur on craigslist. I have some history with the Ford turbo 2.3L, and some parts laying around. Also have a 4cyl T5 to put in as this Merkur is an auto.

Boy did I screw up... told boss about Lemon race and he contacted his buddy Joe who has Turnkey Industries (used to build Turnkey Trailers)... He is so excited that he is planning to purchase 5 cars for his employees and is going top have a competition between the crews in the company...

So he is going to pay for 5 cars, 40+ wheels and tires, pay to have the cars prepped (over the $500 limit now), 20 comp license's, 20 helmets, 20 driving suits, $500 per team plus $100 per driver, +++++? WOW!
