Is there a link to sign up/register somewhere?
Yes Rob go to the events page of the Hallett Website. Click on June Fun Run
Have yall reached out to the other Nasa divisions? Bryan Curtis was in Texas this past weekend and we hung out at the dirt track and he was upset that Hallet was cancelled. I am not sure he know about this or any of the other Colorado guys.
Registered.
Everyone that thinks they may go please sign up now. You will not be charged until we have enough entries to make the event a go.

Bryan and I have both sent to the RM folks. I also posted on NASA RM page and cmc page.
I just talked to Connie,
We are up to 34 entries and that is with no DE (or High Speed Touring as they call them at Hallett).
If we can get the numbers up we are going to have a great event. Sure would be nice to have 20-25 AI/CMC cars!
JJ
So there are 16 of us right now! If the other run groups were as interested as we are the even would be full.

Get everyone you know to come join us.

Email has been sent out to register for the event. Have to pay for registration before getting a raceport, too.

My first time to Hallett. Now that the event is on, what are the parking arrangements going to be? I see some texts about RV spots......keep hearing about "Raceports"-what is that?
Rusty,
Raceports are a covered pit. You need to call right away.
I may have an extra spot but will not know until tomorrow.

Jerry

So the garage spot that Sean and Dave have always shared has opened up and they are going to set-up in their normal spot. Sean was going to split half of the garage that Michael and I are in with Sam. With Sean moving out we now have a spot for one car in our garage. I don't want Sam to get stuck with paying for two spots so anyone that needs a spot please give Sam a call.

Aiight... OIF will be at home in raceport 14. There's an open spot in the Mustang garage on the Crumpacker half.
Karen said at 11:45 Wed 5/13 there were raceports available including at least is sounds like 13, 15, 16, 17 which are on the last straight after the bitch.

If you want a raceport call directly and ask Karen what's left.

Thanks Jerry-I haven't logged on in a few days. I will be pitting with Craig & Al in their Raceport.
Just to nip this in the bud right now.
A rumor is being thrown around that there will not be any ambulance service at this event at Hallett.
Rene called and confirmed that yes indeed we will have ambulance service at this event.

So I have had several asking me if we are going to run with AI/CMC rules. I assume so. If some pull their restrictor and some don't (or can't because they don't run one) in my opinion it will not be as fun. Now there are several that are going to run a different tire but I don't see that as an issue since these other tires should not be as fast as the RR.
JJ
Could we just expect that to run your car stil satisfies the tech sheet you turned in at the beginning of the season. Or for older cars the last one you turned in?
same
Tech is just for safety and not a class. I think you should declare that your running and legal for AIX/AI/CMC and we should have starts just like we normally do. If someone wants to run different than normal than either bump up to AI or AIX. So just because this isn't nasa doesn't change the way things should be unless we all agree.
I have said many times and people have argued against me but this is going to prove that we can run AI/CMC without NASA and run with any organization and however we want. But I always believe people that are going to cheat have already been cheating.
I'm also pumped that people will be on 3-4 different types of tires and nobody is throwing a fit about someone not running a Toyo. Amazing what happens when a few people don't have toyo bucks on the line.
So at some point you guys need to figure out who is bringing what as far as food is concerned. Sean and Dave are going to cook the meat and they will need money to pay for said meat. I will donate even if I do not partake. The rest of you need to post what you are willing to bring.
JJ
Are we going to have our own class or run in the comparable COMA class with others? Do we know how many AI/CMCers we have?
Total number for the event?
